Splendid seven year old single malt Speyside from the Glenrothes Distillery! Independently released by Langside for the Hepburn's Choice collection, this whisky was distilled in 2011 and allowed to age for seven years. In 2019, the whisky was drawn from a refill butt cask, with 921 bottles produced.
Sweet toffee, a touch of nutmeg, cooked apples, musty, leathery oak.
Rich, roasty notes of sweetened coffee, warming barley and clove with aged fruitcake, topped with toasted marzipan.
Baking spices continue, candied orange and dried fruits balance nutmeg and cinnamon.
