Sherry
A sherried Glenrothes here, bottled up by North Star Spirits. This one was distilled in 2008 and allowed to aged until 2020, when it was drawn from a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled at cask strength. Just 323 bottles were produced.
Toasted teacakes, melted butter and a touch of honeyed cereal.
Chocolate raisin takes shape on the palate, along with a helping of treacle.
Intense dried fruit, black pepper and nutmeg.
