Single Malt
Glenmorangie
Scotland
A beautifully packaged and now rather collectable 25-year-old from Glenmorangie. Quarter Century offers thick, dark fruits, with those tropical, malty tones. Superb.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Berry compote, crumble, hint of potpourri, almost floral, stewed plums. A mere hint of rancio? Perhaps.
Initially soft. Creamy, fruitcake, tropical fruit.
Long, very slight astringency. Oak, some fruit.
Yes I also get a case delivered every month or so but I stopped drinking after I shot my beloved dog dead whilst aiming for a deer on my estate. I'd had too many scoops and my aim was way off. I swap it at the local Range Rover dealer ran by a raging alcoholic.
The best whisky i have ever tasted. The nose is complex and yet oh so smooth with the flavours when fully thought over are something most different from it aroma. A must try if ever possible.
Several cases were brought to the estate and we like to hand them round to the help as we gaze through the lead lights as the snow drifts beautifying the landscape.
Agrees with hmmm. We have had a case of this for Christmas the last 2 years 'we don't drink alcohol' but never mind they can keep sending it I just sell it on as I've just put another up for sale. Hubby says in his younger days when he did drink he has never enjoyed a whisky as much as this one.
No, definitely don't tell her you didn't like it, you miserable old sod. It cost her the best part of 200 quid!!!
