Oloroso sherry cask-finished single malt from Glenmorangie. The word 'Lasanta' derives from the Gaelic for warmth and passion.

I focus on the golf, not the whisky...was ready to submit this when I happened on the other reviews. What a load of crap. I may be American but you have to be a total wanker not to see how great this whisky is at only $50/btl. Come on. Well done, cheers guys
If you find the Islay and Lowland whiskies too daunting, Margaret, don’t drink them – but don’t pull your dress over your head and weep because centuries of Scottish artisan distillation makes your mouth taste funny.
I've purchased Glenmorangie LaSanta for a number a years in the United States. Recently local stores in the Los Angeles, California area have been replacing the 46% original by a watered down 43% version. The bottles look almost exactly the same. Aside from the small 43% print, it's difficult to tell the difference. You would expect them to use a different name. It feels to me that the distillery has pulled one over on me since it tastes weaker the the original; that's how I realized it had been watered down. I would give the 46% version 4 stars. Due to the "quiet" lowering of the alcohol concentration I've reduced my rating and made my other scotch drinkers aware. I have however started checking what this distillery says more closely.
Love seeing the negative reviews when this whisky tastes amazingly good. Oh, by the way, it has a 93/100 score on the Whisky Bible 2015.
I recieved several bottles of Scotch ranging from The Glens Nadurra to Tomatin (not cery impressive) The Lasanta is amazing and more mature than the other Glens that I have enjoyed.
