Cruising into MoM Towers is this fantastic 13-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Glenlossie. Distilled in 2009, it slumbered in a re-charred hogshead until the folks at Alistair Walker thought it was just about first class for their Infrequent Flyers range. Landing in at 58.1% ABV, with an outturn of 283 bottles. A superbly fruity Speysider this!
Ripe cherries, sticky raisins, muscovado sugar, and toasted oak, with a hint of waxy orange zest.
Sweet toffee apples, with allspice and pepper, and sprinklings of buttered oatcakes.
Barley sugar sweeties, with lingering pepper.
