12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the glorious Glenlossie Distillery, matured in a pair of first-fill bourbon barrels from 2009 to 2022. After this rest, the casks were cracked open and the whisky within was bottled by Signatory as part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. As such, there was no chill-filtration going on when these bottled were produced.
Marzipan, forest floor, chamomile, stewed berries.
Chocolate peanuts, buttered scones, waxy peels.
Still enjoyably nutty, with walnut loaf and a little tobacco lingering.
