Glenlossie 12 Year Old 2007 (cask 13779) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
An enjoyably nutty single malt from the Glenlossie Distillery, matured for 12 years in a single refill hogshead - from July 2007 to January 2020. Following that slumber, it was independently bottled as part of the Old Particular range by Douglas Laing. 327 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted almond flakes and Nutella, with a hint of spicy rye thrown in for good measure.
Palate
Brown bread with salted butter, orange zest, creamy vanilla and a hint of cumin.
Finish
Blackcurrant, menthol and just a touch of tobacco.
