Distilled at Glenlochy on the 4th September 1980, this was aged in a single hogshead for 30 years before bottling for the Signatory's Cask Strength Collection. A release of 224 bottles.
Beeswax and hints of paraffin, with notes of hot buttered crumpets, some spices, espresso coffee, menthol and oak.
Rich and slightly smoky. A brazen, muscular dram with notes of curry spices, espresso and more beeswax. Good malty backbone with hints of stewed apples and horseradish.
Good length with notes of fresh parsley oak, smoke and honey.
