A 16 year old Glenlivet distilled in September 1995 and aged in a single sherry butt before bottling in March 2012. A release of just 299 bottles from Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range.
Cocoa butter and toffee apples on the nose, with nutmeg and pipe tobacco flavours.
Boiled sweets and stewed fruits, a little marmalade, hints of grapefruit zest and black pepper.
Cherries and oak line the finish.
