Distilled at Glen Keith on the 7th July 1977, this was aged in a single hogshead for 32 years before it was bottled in 2009 by Signatory. Glenisla was an experimental peated whisky from Glen Keith, similar to Craigduff…
Aromatic, with notes of vanilla sweetness, orange blossom, manuka honey and hints of peat smoke. Quite a musty, coal-like peat.
Rich with cereals, vanilla, candy floss, apples and pears, green oak, charcoal, oily smoke and caramel.
Short finish with coal dust, coal tar soap, and malt.
