Independently bottled Glengoyne, you say? Oh yes, that's exactly what we've got right here! This rich Highland dram was distilled in September 1997, set aside to mature in a refill hogshead for 17 years and bottled in February 2015. Fresh and fruit-laden, with bushels of apple and pear notes, complimented by golden barley and chocolate - a light, refreshing Glengoyne. 348 bottles were released.
Can't agree more with the two comments below. If you never drank a 17 Year old Glengoyne then you don't have a benchmark of the best whisky ever made. We are STRUGGLING to get some of it in South Africa ...But when I lay my hands on them I share it with everyone ....because everyone deserves to drink only the best
