Glenfiddich
Scotland
Single Malt

The Glenfiddich 25 Year Old Rare Oak was originally released for the Travel Retail market. It's drawn from a mixture of Spanish sherry butts and American bourbon barrels, resulting in a rich, complex flavour profile. Lively sherried spice and juicy raisin notes blend well with the chewy vanilla touches - a classic combination, and with good reason.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Green apple drenched in caramel and butter, blackberry leaf (and actual blackberries, too!), lacquered oak and well-aged rum.
Succulent raisins and sultanas with a drizzle of Curaçao liqueur. Hot mulled wine, gingerbread biscuits and Honey-Nut Cornflakes.
Oily pine, nutmeg and a squeeze of citrus.

The best tasting single malt I've ever tasted, and I'm 74 years old. When you have something to especially celebrate, THIS is the bourbon of "choice" ... simply heavenly & smooth.
Nose: An Irish nose, wonderfully delicate. Palate: Viscous glorious mouthfeel...again I can't believe it's not Irish. Light, lemony and spicy. After: Step we gaily, on we go. It's a step in step with the palate...creamy lemons. Wonderful stuff.
