A 15 year old single malt Scotch from Glenfiddich Distillery, made up of whiskies matured in American bourbon, sherry, and virgin oak. Inspired by the classic sherry-making bodegas of Spain and Portugal, the 15-year-old whiskies are left to mellow and intensify in a solera vat, a large oak vat that hasn't been emptied since 1998.
Sherry, citrus - orange in particular, dry wood. Slight suggestion of smoke?
Medium, Sherry, raisins. Fruitcake, spices, sweetness.
Candied fruits, raisins, spices, Christmas pudding, oak takes over.
If you like Speyside whiskies, I'll keep this short. Buy this. It's by far and away the best bang-for-buck whiskey on the market and considering you can normally find it for a little over £30 if you shop around, it's stunningly good value.
Wow, this blew away my expectations. THICK. It is like sippin egg white, in a good/fantastic way. Very nice flavor. Keeps you craving.

Picked up a bottle for £34, great value for money at that price. Easy drinking scotch. I like it! Nose: pineapple, citrus (lime?) butterscotch, vanilla, green wood..Indulgent. Taste: sweet, vanilla, fruits, dried fruit, spices (cloves? cinnamon?) doesn't last very long in the mouth, sweet aftertaste. A bit thin.
Smooth and sweet. Non whiskey drinkers have been converted after trying this!
