Glenfarclas Family Cask 1966

Glenfarclas 1966 Bottling Note

Glenfarclas is one of the few remaining family owned and run (as opposed to simply owned) distilleries in Scotland. The Family Cask celebrate their heritage and this cask was laid down in 1966.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Melted dark chocolate drizzled over malt biscuits with a glass of sweet sherry on the side.

Palate: Classic sherry Christmas cake with a mug of coffee dominant mocha on the side with a sprinkling of Demerara sugar on top.

Finish: A long finish with bitter plain chocolate and roasted coffee beans.

Overall: If you like your aged heavily sherried drams then this is the whisky for you. Deliciously rich and sweet.
