Lots of juicy, sweet, sherry notes combined with malt and barley. Creamy hints of toffee give way to delicate honey, vanilla, and orchard fruits.
Delicious sherry sweetness and dried fruits, with complex, delicate winter spices and fruitcake. Light toffee, and a hint of smoke.
Long, smooth, spicy and fruity, with a touch of oak.
I found the nose to be moderately peated also, which was not mentioned in the tasting notes.
A great whiskey this whiskey has now entered into my top 3 of all time which is ardbeg talisker and now this. The flavours are very complex for a 10 year old the Finnish made this whiskey for me with the oak coming in at the very end which leaves a great taste in your mouth. Worth £28 in my book easily a £35 whiskey I am so impressed i am going for the 15 yr old next:-)
A great 10 ten year old whisky at a reasonable price, not something you can say often. Very drinkable with a light caramel and plum nose and I cant wait to pick up a 15 for more of the same.
Very nice and soft whisky, almost like an elegant, fruity cognac. Has a beautiful starter, but in the long run it just doesn't seem to leave a lasting impression.
Good tasting malt whisky without the pretentious nonsense.
