11 year old Glendullan single malt, drawn from a pair of hogshead casks that were laid down back in October 2009. Just over a decade later, those casks were cracked open and the whisky within was bottled up by Signatory for the Un-Chillfiltered Collection. As you can tell from the name, there was none of that chill-filtration when bottling this one. Not a drop.
Quite herbaceous with notes of anise and lemongrass, while sweet touches of currant buns and flaky pastry develop underneath.
Oily barley and continued herbaceous elements, plus banana, salted butter, and peanuts.
Softly oaky on the finish.
