Single malt Scotch whisky from Glencadam distillery was first matured in bourbon barrels before being treated to a decadent finish in Pedro Ximénez casks. In the Highland distillery's dunnage warehouses, this rich and sweet sherry style added layers of dried fruit, baking spice, and zesty citrus to a whisky that was bottled without chill-filtration or any additional colouring at 46% ABV.
Dried fruit, chocolate mousse, treacle, Morello cherries, and cinnamon.
Clove, maple syrup, blackcurrant compote, golden raisins, and crystalised ginger.
Notes of espresso and caramel linger.
Non chill filtered, naturally coloured and 46%. It's a beautiful dark colour with a fruity nose. Deep figs and dates, i get cherries as well. Tastes is the same as the nose with a cinnamon note. The finish is medium long that leaves you with nice fruity taste that I really enjoy. The value is very good, highly recommended.
Sherry cask scotch is my thing, and omg this is fantastic, especially for the price, it's got all the usual suspect tastes in there and is so balanced. I usually prefer Oloroso casks to pedro Ximinez, but this is amazing, and my only disappointment is that when i logged in this morning to buy another it's sold out
Wow wow wow wow. I have no other words for this exceptional whisky. I cant believe that this is a non age statement !
Just a beautiful rich dram. Incredible value for money!
Rich and brown in colour. Nose: pencil rubber, maltloaf, ripe figs, cherries, stewed plums and more. Taste: sherry, more stewed fruits, subtle coffee and chocolate notes. Finish: Medium with lingering vanilla and sweet, rich fruit. Very tasty!
