Glencadam 34 Bottling Note

This was distilled in April 1977 at the Glencadam distillery. It was aged for 34 years in a single sherry butt before bottling in January 2012 at natural cask strength for Douglas Laing's Old and Rare Platinum Selection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sherry, kirsch, cranberries and raisins. Calves leather, dessert wine and exotic spices.

Palate: Slightly rubbery and quite gripping with tangy, rich sherry oak, a little cocoa and prune. Hints of under-ripe plums, figs and banana loaf.

Finish: Medium-length with notes of pepper and caramel.
