Bourbon
Single malt Scotch from Glenburgie, distilled in 2013 and matured for eight years in first-fill bourbon barrels. In 2022 the barrels were opened by the team at independent bottler Càrn Mòr, releasing 1,169 bottles for its Strictly Limited collection.
Dollops of vanilla cream and honeyed wafers, peach, and nectarine, with woody clove and hints of cinnamon.
Peanut brittle, fresh apricot, and more stone fruits lead, backed up by candied citrus and a hint of nutmeg.
Sweet, creamy, spiced notes of a gingerbread latte, with buttery flapjack and orchard fruits lingering.
