GlenAllachie kicks off its 2023 Wine Cask Series in spectacular fashion with this Cuvée Wine Cask Finish expression. This 9-year-old limited release Speyside single malt started its maturation in bourbon barrels, before moving to specially selected wine barriques sourced from exceptional wine-growing regions: Languedoc, Valpolicella, and a premier cru chateaux in Bordeaux. Bottled without chill filtration, showcasing the full-flavoured and fruity core of this whisky.
Floral, with orange blossom honey, toasted marzipan and pistachios, and warm cinnamon spice.
Fruit and nut balance, with cocoa nibs, charred grains, dried currants, and cranberries, joined by candied orange peel, and gingerbread spice.
Warm spices linger, with roasted almonds.
