This single malt was distilled over at Glenallachie in Speyside in June 1992. It was left to age in a single refill hogshead for almost three decades, until Hunter Laing cracked open the cask in October 2019. Just 296 bottles were released at 27 years old, weighing in at 50% ABV for the Old Malt Cask series.

Nose
Vanilla shortbread biscuits, with ripe apples and pears, and zesty orange sponge cake.
Palate
Sweet, fragrant cut grass, with luxurious crème pâtissière and Highland flowers.
Finish
Lemon drizzle cake and more of those ripe orchard fruits linger.
