Description
More cracking whisky from the Cask Strength Collection - this time it's a 22 year old single malt from the Glenallachie Distillery in Speyside! It was placed into a hogshead cask back in October 1996 and left to mature until February 2019. Signatory bottled it up with an outturn of 262 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pear tart with flaky pastry, buttered apples and some toasted almonds.
Palate
Apricot, orange sweeties, more nutty notes and vanillay oak.
Finish
Slightly herby, with oily basil and fragrant thyme.
