This is the fifth batch of the much-adored GlenAllachie 21 Year Old single malt, composed by master distiller Billy Walker. The whisky was selected from a host of five Pedro Ximénez and oloroso sherry puncheons and hogsheads and it's brimming with abundant layers of fruitcake, mocha, and stewed red fruits.
Brandied honeycomb, molasses tart and spiced blood orange, with bursts of cocoa, black winter truffle and caramelised brown sugar.
Rich chocolate, warm baking spices and clementine zest, followed by molasses, orchard fruits and crystalised ginger.
Black cherries and raisin butter.
