A fourth iteration of one of GlenAllachie's oldest core range expressions, Batch Four was made from just three vintage Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheons from Jerez, Spain. Each cask was selected by whisky maker Billy Walker and just 2,000 bottles were filled, at a cask strength 51.1% ABV with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
Waves of clementine zest, raisins, and honeycomb, with cocoa, fruit cake, and caramelised brown sugar.
Bursts of baking spices, rich chocolate, and heather honey, followed by treacle, orchard fruits, and black cherries.
