A decadent single malt here from GlenAllachie, drawn from a single tawny Port pipe! GlenAllachie has had some incredible Port cask matured whiskies, so we're expecting big things from this one. This expression was distilled back in 2006, and allowed to slumber for 15 years, until the Port pipe was cracked open in 2021. A release of 719 bottles.
Lashings of honey, dark chocolate, and musky berries, followed by sweet spice, treacle, and grape must.
Waves of blackberries, heather honey, and cinnamon, followed by layers of mocha, dried fruits, and vanilla pods.
