GlenAllachie 11 Year Old Moscatel Wood Finish
Here we have a deliciously honeyed expression released as part of GlenAllachie's Wood Finish series. Firstly, the single malt was matured in American oak barrels for over nine years, before it was transferred to Moscatel barriques until it reached 11 years of age. It was bottled up at 48% ABV, with distinctive Muscat grapes peeking through the floral, malty notes.

Nose
Peaches in syrup, with chai spices, floral honey and roasted coffee bean.
Palate
A dusting of cocoa and honeycomb, with fresh nectarine and lychee alongside cinnamon buns.
Finish
Dark chocolate and honeyed grapes.
