A single cask Glenallachie, bottled by Speciality Drinks. This was aged for 35 years in a single first fill sherry cask and it is astounding stuff. Very highly rated by the critics!
Fruity and intense, with hints of Paxarette, fresh herbs, pine forest, truffle oil, cigar leaves, pepper and walnut. A touch of toasted almond develops.
Oaky and intense, calves leather, prunes, rancio, toffee apples, espresso and rolling tobacco.
Long and minty, Oloroso, pepper and treacle.
