Glen Moray 25 Year Old 1991 (cask 11831) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Independently bottled single malt from the Glen Moray distillery, aged for 25 years in a single refill hogshead - from October 1991 to June 2017. Following that, it was bottled by Douglas Laing as part of their smashing Old particular range with an outturn of 247 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Citrus-forward, with notes of flamed orange peel and fresh grapefruit. A hint of earthy vanilla and oak stops it from becoming too sweet.
Palate
Stem ginger, roasted coffee bean and a hint of lime.
Finish
Juicy peach, mango, pineapple and brandy snaps.
