From Speyside's Glen Moray distillery comes a 12 year old single cask single malt, independently bottled by the fine folks over at Douglas Laing. This was distilled in May 2004 and left to mature for a dozen years in a refill hogshead, before being bottled in February 2017 as part of the Provenance range. A release of 379 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Richly malty, with underlying sweetness of fresh dates and sugared almonds.

Palate

Confectioner's sugar dusted over poached pear, a slight hint of vanilla-y biscuits and some dark rum-like heat.

Finish

Still packed with fruit. Some peppery spice.
