This Glen Moray was distilled in 2014 and finished in a first-fill oloroso sherry butt. The Speyside spirit brings orchard fruit and malted barley to the table, while the sherry finish piles on dark fruit, spice, and a satisfying weight. A proper small-batch bruiser from Brave New Spirits.
Baked apples, raisin loaf, walnut oil, cinnamon, and polished oak.
Rich malt, dark chocolate, dried figs, toffee, and warming spice.
Long, drying, and gently nutty, with lingering sherry sweetness.
