Glen Keith 30 Year Old 1991 (cask 15290) - Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
30 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the fabulous Glen Keith Distillery, bottled up for Douglas Laing's Extra Old Particular range. This one was matured in a refill butt for three decades, from July 1991 to September 2021, before eventually being bottled at 50.8% ABV, with an outturn of only 427 bottles. Snazzy bottles they are, too.
Tasting Note by The Producer
The nose reveals and elegant dried apricot style running to maple syrup, milk chocolate, and honey'd barley. The palate is thick and fulsome with home baking, vanilla cream and a mocha depth. The finish lingers wonderfully... Anticipate a spiced oak character with pineapple and peached in syrup.
