This right here is a 20 year old Glen Keith, which was matured in a single hogshead cask. Said hogshead was filled up by Glen Keith in November 1995 and, in June 2016, it was cracked open by Douglas Laing to bottle the whisky for their Old Particular range. 261 bottles were produced.
Popcorn, sponge cake, golden syrup and some peaches.
Buttered toast with supporting notes of ginger, pepper and honey'd cereals.
Gingerbread and blackberry.
Angelfood and honeyed butter, with a bit of candied ginger. Pleasant, rich mouthfeel. Finish a bit dry, but long. A good value at this price.
