Single Malt

A wonderful indie bottling of Glen Keith single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a single hogshead cask from 1995 to 2017. It was bottled by Wemyss malts and given the title Forest Fresh to give you a hint of the flavour profile. 315 bottles were produced. 'Forest Fresh' also sounds like a very cool new genre of music.
Pineapple and honey'd pecan, with a hint of basil leaf adding savoury elements.
Robustly malty and enjoyable. A light touch of pine resin behind vanilla and pear.
Marmalade, brown sugar and lemongrass.

Nose: Malty and fruity. Pears are prominent. Vanilla. Classic clean bourbon oak notes. Palate: Fruity, sweet pears, vanilla. Oak tannins, but not overpowering. Spice grows on the finish along with fruity wood.
