This was distilled at the Glen Grant distillery in the Autumn of 1998. It was then aged for 12 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in Summer 2011. It was selected for Douglas Laing's very fine Provenance range.
Nose: Buttery, gooey toffee greets the nostrils, alongside sweet barley grist and apple blossom.
Palate: Sweet and creamy, with citrus, mixed spices, stem ginger, cocoa and grist.
Finish: Long, toffee-led finish with hints of pipe tobacco on the tail.
