This twelve year old Glen Grant was bottled by Douglas Laing for the 20cl range of their Old Malt Cask brand. These are known as the 'Advance Samples' and are designed to replicate the sample bottles the Laing brothers are sent to try when selecting the casks they may later bottle.
A buttery aroma leading to butter fudge and dried apple with slightly floral edge.
Very creamy with nutmeg and milk chocolate notes giving way to dried banana chips.
A toffee focussed finish with notes of salted butter and cocoa powder.
This is a creamy whisky that goes down very easily, perfect for when a powerful dram is too much.
