A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.
Medium. Vanilla, toffee apple. Herbal, hint of smoke.
Firm. Sweetness, fruity, vanilla. Gentle peat, malty.
Dry, supple peat, toffee.

Ok I am a Single Malt guys since I was 18. This seems like I have come home and have found what I was looking for. So easy you cannot believe it. I had friends hooked on it. Can't say much more than ... My Scottish heritage comes out here. Have to try more than the 10 year
Out of the 20 or so single malts I've had so far, this one is just about as good as any. All the right tastes are there for my preference: a little peat, a little bite, and a good fruity taste.
This is a great whisky to drink on a daily basis. My cabinet is filled with the likes of Dalmore 18 and Dalwhinnie 15, yet this one is always between them.
So happy I bought a litre bottle. Just so smooth, so drinkable. What's not to like? For this price!?
Started drink whiskey back in June and have fallen in love with the stuff. Tried this for the first time last night. Great little tipple. Very smooth. Nice sweet notes. Will be getting a bottle very soon!
