A great beginner's whisky right here from the Glen Grant Distillery, produced in tall pot stills. This 10 year old Speyside single malt, having spent a decade in bourbon casks, boasts oodles of light, malty notes. A top dram for warmer weather.
Medium. Vanilla, toffee apple. Herbal, hint of smoke.
Firm. Sweetness, fruity, vanilla. Gentle peat, malty.
Dry, supple peat, toffee.

I'm unabashedly a single malt fan and 3 of my absolute favorites are Talisker Storm, Highland Park 15 yr old, and Lagavulin 16 yr old! I didn't know I'd add a fourth until I just tried this whiskey....outstanding! when I'm looking for a very nicely balanced mellow dram for myself or company, this will now always be in my cabinet to reach for!
It is one of the smoothest single malts I have ever tasted
Very drinkable ! Dont expect to have your palette blown off by this. Its smooth, tasty and not overly sophisticated. A young whisky that more than delivers for its price. BUY IT, you cant go wrong
This was the first single malt I ever bought, and it is still the best, in my opinion. Even the undated version is a delight.
Best value 10 year old single malt bar none. Compares with much "better" bottles in my collection light and full of fruit, great nose and wonderfully smooth. it has no right to be this good for £30
