6 year old Glen Garioch single malt aged in a refill hogshead, independently bottled by Douglas Laing as part of the Provenance series. Interesting to see a Glen Garioch bottled at a rather young age - this one was distilled in January 2010 and bottled in November 2016 with an outturn of 402 bottles.
Honey'd barley, mint chocolate, coconut biscuits.
Vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips and hundreds & thousands.
Mint chocolate returns, now with a touch of white oak spiciness.

Ginger, almond and coconut on the nose The palate brings candied orange peel and vanilla Short spicy finish. 71/100 in my book, which is not bad at all (I'm not one of those 5 stars or no stars voters). I love the nose on this especially; could go with smelling this all evening. Recommended for a daily dram.
Absolutely delicious - definitely a new favourite for me.
