A 6 year old Glen Garioch single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a single refill hogshead from January 2010 to March 2016. This has been bottled by the excellent Douglas Laing as part of their Provenance range.
Rich sweetness of honey cereal and sugared peel. A touch of white chocolate, too.
Full-bodied malt and almond notes, with more honey in tow.
Quite long and refreshing on the finish with citrus blossom lasting.
