Single Malt
22 year old single malt from Glen Elgin, independently bottled by Signatory. This whisky matured in a single refill hogshead from December 1995 to March 2018, when it was bottled for the Cask Strength Collection, producing 284 bottles.
Buttery malt and biscuit dough. Sawdust, cinnamon and peach.
Fresh and fruit-forward, with notes of honeydew melon, lime peel and strawberry.
Grassier than the palate suggests, but still enjoying refreshing.
