Glen Elgin sits just outside the town in the village of Fogwatt and quietly produces fillings for Diageo's blends. This spent 10 years in an ex-bourbon hogshead and then the rest of the time in a profiler barrique - a Portuguese wine cask - before bottling at cask strength.
Honey, apples, vanilla and some cherry fruit.
Spicy, black pepper and ginger, with a creamy texture.
