Single malt from Glen Elgin, distilled in 2009 and matured in a trio of hogsheads for a dozen years. In 2022, the casks were opened by the team at Signatory and independently released for its Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Layers of creamy pastries, toasted almonds, and butter biscuits with sweet citrus zest in tow.
A brilliant balance of soft, creamy oak and peppery barley, with smotherings of set honey, cooked apricots, and vanilla.
Barley water and boiled fruit sweets balance dried spices beneath.
