A cask strength single malt, no one knows which distillery this has come from, Finlaggan remains a very closely-guarded secret.
An absolute find. Power, grace, balance. Nadal on clay. That good. And please, mums the word. If this whisky gets better known, forget it. So, shhhh....quiet!

Absolutely cracking! I'd love to know who makes it, but I suppose I never shall (though I have my own ideas). Super complex flavour; cask strength; £41. What more is there to say?
So my favourite drams are Aberlour A'bunnah, Ardbeg Uigeadail & Corryvreckan. Then my friend handed me a glass of this. The three and now four. What a stunner! Got to be tasted to be believed at that price-point. Grab it while it's still unknown, once the rest of the world discovers it, the price could easily double.
Finlaggan Cask Strength - This is my absolute favourite highest noted bottle. The new shining star in my little cabinet. The pleasure of detecting it by recommendation for a whisky tasting from one of my friends a short while ago really changed my life quite a bit. I may mention, that it must be distilled in Caol Ila, for those flavours, for changing temporarily my sight of life in such a beautiful way - there is no other distiller doing it that way - thank you for that. I've tried the 46% as well - nice but not as nice as the 58% one, here we have the strength, the full character and the strength also the change you can feel shortly after having the first sip (Pure of course, no water) - it is a whole new philosophy showing me the way and the answer of the question - why are we here on this planet ** One of our major tasks must be to enjoy ourselves and be good to ourselves in order to be good to others. Thank you guys who created this wonderful water of life, you are making it worthwhile going for and challenging the rest of my days!!
