    FEW Bourbon

The fantastic FEW Bourbon, packed full of toffee, clove, vanilla and warming spice goodness! This splendid craft beauty comes presented in a gorgeous bottle adorned with a label showing off some local heritage, depicting a scene from the Chicago World’s Fair of 1892. A vibrant spirit drink filled to the brim with character.

FEW Spirits hails from Evanston in the United States of America, a city that suffered Prohibition for over one hundred years thanks to many of its advocates hailing from its dry streets. Thankfully Evanston is now home to this excellent craft distillery which takes its name ironically from the initials of Frances Elizabeth Willard, a key figure in the Temperance Movement.

    One of the best

A very good bourbon, possibly too good as it goes down a treat. Wether you drink bourbon neat or with a mixer then you’re guaranteed to like this one.

    Depends on your palette

I admit I'm still finding my favourite when it comes to a Bourbon and this isn't it unfortunately. I can see why many reviews love it and a few dislike it. When "spicy" is mentioned it's very heavy on the clove and cardamom and it's not for me. Now I'm not saying it's not a nice drop but it's just not for my palette, for me it's a a steady 6/10 but that's because it's not for me personally. If you dont mind the flavours of clove and cardamom then you'll love it. Overall smooth but with a heavy kick of "particular"spice. Brave, even at £45 a bottle.

    Fantastic

Quite possibly the best bourbon I have ever tasted. There's a lot going on flavour-wise, but nothing is overpowering. I think it's best drunk neat over 1 or 2 cubes of ice. it's very VERY smooth & easy to drink. The bottle and label are also great looking (if you care about that sort of thing) .

    Very good Bourbon

One of the nicest Bourbons I've had, glad it's at 46.5% as it adds that little extra kick.

Overall a decent bottle - interested in trying their award winning Rye

Price point is a bit high for what you get. "Not worth the price" is a bit harsh with comments - sour is not what comes through at all; a simple lack of complexity due to it being a fairly young bourbon is the issue. If FEW managed to get this on the shelf for $30.00, they would sell a ton. It actually has a bit more of a smoky nature to it, so the good reviews from scotch drinkers makes sense. overall a decent bourbon - too each their own palate - I would be interested in "Not worth the price" tasting process, e.g. splash of water, one ice cube, neat, etc. I did one cube and it was quite nice...
