Fettercairn single malt aged for 27 years in one hogshead cask. This was distilled in December 1988 and set aside to mature until June 2016, when Signatory bottled it for their Cask Strength Collection. A release of 261 bottles.
Walnut loaf, orange peels, vanilla and a little touch of crushed red pepper.
Fruitier than the nose, with red berries and yet more orange. Quite nutty.
Lasting toffee sweetness.
