A fab indie Fettercairn, distilled in 2008 and matured for over a decade in a single bourbon cask. In 2022, the folks at Hunter Laing cracked the cask open and bottled the Highland single malt at 12 years old for the Old Malt Cask series, with a release of 122 bottles at 50% ABV.
Lemon curd, orange peel, and malt biscuits.
Rich and sweet, with peppery oak, custard, and cooked orchard fruit.
Clove-studded orange and more vanilla.
