Single Malt

Another cracking addition to Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel series, where the ceramic decanters, covered with alliterative, whimsical tasting notes are as exciting to explore as the whisky within. This one contains single malt from the Fettercairn distillery, matured for a decade in a single barrel that yielded a total of 391 decanters when opened. As it says on the front, a handsome hero of a Highland single malt!
Waves of oaken vanilla, toffee, and sweet summer berries, with syrupy flapjack and zesty citrus oil.
Vanilla fudge, soft layers of peach, toasted nuts, and runny honey.
Porridge oats and more soft stone fruits are joined by burnt brown sugar, candied ginger, and a touch of drying oak.
