A stunning single cask bottling of Edradour's top quality single malt Scotch whisky, presented as part of Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection. This one was distilled back in 2011, and aged in cask #217 for a decade, before being bottled in October 2021. Signatory has a history of bottling up some cracking Edradour whiskies, so don't miss out on this one!
Dense notes of cocoa and raisin, with a few good pinches of cinnamon.
Treacle tarts, banana fritters, a touch of charred oak leading into oaky spice.
Coffee again, though now with a splash of milk, plus malt loaf with butter.
I liked this one. It has a pleasantly sweet nose. The palate is full of stewed berries and waves of coffee. It was a nice dram and didn’t last long but it wasn’t a shade on the cask 351
Beautifully sherried expression. It is extremely well balanced and it delivers more than its price suggests. Absolutely worth every penny
