Hunter Laing
A rather excellent single malt from the Dufftown Distillery, independently bottled by Hunter Laing for the Old Malt Cask range. It was distilled back in 2007 and aged in a refill butt cask until 2022, when the Hunter Laing team bottled it up at 50% ABV 551 bottles were produced.
Nutty malt with layers of caramel, plus some dark chocolate shavings.
Juicy raisin and plum, with balancing touches of earthy barley.
Cadbury's Fruit & Nut, with a hint of orange peel.
