The Arlett range of French single malt is produced at Distillerie Tessendier, better known for its range of Cognac. This is a lightly peated expression, aged for three years in bourbon barrels for a bold, rounded profile with a good helping of smoke.
Poached pear, salted liquorice, and medicinal peat, with candied citrus and toasted spice beneath.
Delicate peat brings light notes of ash and a touch of seaweed, supported by toasted oak, bitter orange, and vanilla.
A touch of pepper, anise, dark chocolate, dried fruit, tobacco smoke.
